Our story
We are the Salti People.
We're an Australian fitness and leisure brand blurring the lines between swim, fitness and leisure.
Days by the pool are well overdue.
Founded on the nostalgia of summer days, poolside. An ice cream in hand, with waterlogged, sun-kissed skin. Salti was created to live the daydream of an endless summer, with the goal for all to rediscover the love for aquatic leisure.
We're all about striking a balance, enjoying life and having fun.
Sticking to our roots, we believe a workout should be fun, playful and a good laugh. We did this with our first concept by redefining aquatic exercise with our signature workout and equipment: The Salti Float. This disrupted the aqua fitness industry with something new, fresh and innovative.
And just like anything in life, we're continuing to evolve. Because we know your life includes exercise, but is not exclusively defined by it. And nor are we defined purely by getting physical.
We promote living a lifestyle in balance, one that's not too serious because we like to have a bit of fun. So if you want to lounge around for a cocktail or more after you work up a sweat, then count us in. Our aim is to create products that help you embrace this lifestyle. This is a way of life that we embody.

Meet our founders
Who are the Salti People?
Salti was founded in 2016 by Jo and Brendan, a husband and wife team from Canberra, Australia. We often find ourselves indulging in the enjoyable recollection of past events.
Both 80's water babies, our curated brand is a nod to the more recent retro eras, back when life was less digital.
Our story
Where it started
Salti is the home of the Salti Float and Salti group fitness classes, we disrupted the aqua fitness industry with something new, fresh and innovative.
- We paved the way for floating fitness in Australia.
- We made aqua fitness classes an experience, fun, social, encouraging and inclusive.
- We encouraged more people to move their bodies, combating low participation in physical activity.
- We enticed the people back to local pools.
- We boosted the health and wellbeing of communities across Australia.
Our future
Where we're going
We are the people who brought you sweat to swim activewear.
We live in the water so we needed pieces that would last and fit our lifestyle. We were ruining countless pairs of leggings by wearing them in the water and frankly it wasn't good enough.
Through years of testing, we finally discovered eco fabrics that withstand the harsh elements of salt water and chlorine.
In 2021 we launched our first signature collection of sweat to swim activewear, consciously crafted with sustainable materials.
We plan to continue to blur the lines of swim and activewear through timeless pieces. With future collections embodying the fitness, aquatic, leisure lifestyle. We pledge to do this through making eco-friendly choices where possible.

We reside and work in the Nations Capital, Ngunnawal Country. We acknowledge the traditional owners of this land whose cultures and customs have nurtured and continue to nurture this land. We pay our respects to the Elders past, present and emerging.
